Search an address or tap My location. You'll see where the land funnels deer travel into narrow lanes within 5 miles, ranked. Public parking and a walk-in are shown only where the walk stays on land open to the public.
Covers New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. This app reads terrain only. It shows where the land steers game travel, not whether game is there; that depends on how many animals live nearby, hunting and human pressure, food and season. Confirm with sign, and check property lines and posting before you hunt.
Terrain only: these spots shape game travel where game is present. Numbers, pressure and food decide how much moves through. More
Each spot's centre is on public land. Boundaries are approximate, and hunting rules vary by property. Check before you go.
Your own map: mark stands, crossings, gates and anything worth coming back to, and record the trail you walk in on so you can follow it back out in the dark. Free.
Drop a pin wherever you find rubs, scrapes, trails or beds. If the corridors work, most of your sign lands in them.

This app reads terrain. It finds the ground features that steer how deer and other large game move through an area: water, ledges and steep slopes, gorges, old riverbeds, and the edges where cover meets open ground. It does not detect, count or track animals.
Where game is present, these features shape the routes it takes. How much actually moves through a spot depends on things no map can see: how many animals live in the area, how much hunting and other human pressure it gets, food, bedding cover, weather, the season and the rut. A strong funnel in an area with few deer, or one next to a busy trailhead, can be quiet. Use the spots as the place to start scouting, and let the sign you find decide where you sit.
The app treats the land the way a deer moves on an unpressured day. Gentle wooded ground is easy. Steep slopes, ledges, open water, fields, roads and houses are hard. Across the whole state, it traced the easiest routes between hundreds of thousands of cover spots and marked where those routes squeeze into a narrow lane. A spot ranks high only when the terrain itself does the squeezing.
A spot on this map is not permission to hunt there. Check ownership, get landowner permission, obey posted land, and follow your state's fish and game rules.
