Terms of Service

Effective October 2026. Northwoods Investment LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company ("we", "us"), runs the Funnel Finder web app (the "App"). By using the App or buying a subscription you agree to these terms.

The short version. The App reads terrain. It shows where the shape of the land is likely to steer deer and other game, not whether game is there or will move while you're there. A spot on the map is never permission to hunt it. You can cancel anytime, and you can get a full refund within 30 days of your first payment.

1. What the App is

The App analyzes public elevation, water, land-cover and road data to estimate terrain funnels and pinch points: places where the land concentrates travel for animals moving through an area. It ranks those places and suggests nearby public roads for access.

The App does not detect, count or track animals. How much game uses a spot depends on things the App cannot see, including how many animals live in the area, hunting and other human pressure, food, bedding cover, weather, season and the rut. Results are estimates from data that can be out of date or imprecise (for example, land cover is from 2021 and small features under about 10 meters may be missed). We make no promise that you will see or take game at any spot.

2. Hunting law, property and safety

You are responsible for hunting legally and safely. Before entering any land, confirm who owns it, get the landowner's permission where required, and obey posted land and all hunting laws and rules of the state you hunt in (New Hampshire Fish and Game, Vermont Fish and Wildlife). The App suggests parking only at public parking lots, and a walking line only where that line stays on land that public records (USGS PAD-US) list as open to the public. Those records and their boundaries are approximate and can be out of date, so a lot or a walking line may still touch private or posted land, and public land can carry its own hunting rules (parks, refuges, safety zones). Lots may be gated, seasonal or unplowed, and walking lines may cross water, cliffs or other hazards. Guide me in is a straight-line arrow, not a route, and does not account for who owns the land it crosses. Check boundaries and rules yourself, and use your own judgment and the conditions in front of you.

3. Subscriptions and billing

4. Refunds

If the App isn't for you, email us within 30 days of your first payment on a season or founders pass, or within 7 days on a monthly plan, and we'll give you a full refund, no questions asked. This applies once per customer, to the first payment of a subscription. A refund ends access immediately. After that window, payments aren't refunded, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds normally appear on your card within 5 to 10 business days.

5. Your account

We identify you by the email you pay with. Sign-in links are personal; don't share them. You may use your subscription on your own devices. One subscription is for one person.

6. Acceptable use

Don't copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the App's maps, rankings or data; don't try to bypass the paywall; and don't interfere with the App's operation. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Ownership

The App, its software, model, maps and rankings belong to Northwoods Investment LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws. Public source data remains subject to its own terms. Sign pins you log are stored on your phone and stay yours.

8. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for injury, trespass, citations or losses arising from your hunting or travel decisions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects paying subscribers, we'll give notice in the App or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the change.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
